Forklift Mechanic ~ West Sacramento

Tony's Fine Foods is seeking a full time Forklift Mechanic.

OVERVIEW: Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.

• Maintain inventory of parts and logging all parts purchase orders

• Keep accurate records on repairs and services on the computer

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.

• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.

• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of related experience servicing Raymond and Crown forklift and pallet jacks AFT cranes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment.

• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean DMV.

• Must have a basic set of tools.

Engine Room Operator - Yuba City, CA

Tony’s Fine Foods delivers reliable services, over 12,000 quality products and competitive prices to customers in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii. We believe that our ability to provide superior service to our customers starts with our people. We are currently seeking an Engine Room Operator for our Yuba City location.

Job Overview: Support the Chief Engineer and team with accurate and timely room temperature monitoring and control. Lead and assist with new and ongoing projects. Work in the warehouse on occasion by loading and unloading trucks by hand or forklift. Participate in the goal of keeping all warehouse, grounds and engine rooms clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Monitor and control temperatures.

• Monitor and maintain engine room equipment and controls.

• Defrosting (Hot Gas and Water).

• Perform water treatments.

• General Housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

• Work independently and well with others.

• Able to work various shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
